For the CLS-A8, semi-automatic knife positioning is the standard configuration. For customers with frequent order changes, multiple slit width requirements or higher setup efficiency demands, the full automatic knife positioning system can be selected as an optional upgrade.

The system uses servo-driven positioning and precision mechanical transmission to improve positioning accuracy and repeatability. It helps reduce manual adjustment, shorten setup time and improve production preparation efficiency during job changeover.

This option is especially suitable for converters processing labelstock, paper, film and web materials with frequent slitting width changes or strict production consistency requirements.

For customers seeking a higher level of automation, the CLS-A8 can be integrated with a robotic arm system for automatic finished roll unloading, handling and stacking. The robotic arm can be configured according to finished roll weight, roll diameter, unloading direction, stacking method and factory layout. A typical reference configuration may include 5 axis operation, 300 kg handling capacity, 3 Phase / 380 V power supply and 15.8 kW power configuration, subject to final project design.

This option is especially valuable for heavy rolls, continuous production, multi-shift operation and factories that want to reduce manual labor in finished roll handling.

Kinetic Energy Recovery System

The CLS-A8 can be configured with a kinetic energy recovery system based on common DC bus design. During machine operation, the system can support energy recovery or channel recovered energy to other inverters, helping improve overall energy utilization in suitable production conditions.

Each machine can be equipped with an electricity meter, and the electrical cabinet can be fitted with three current transformers for energy monitoring and verification. This allows customers to review real operating data instead of relying only on theoretical power consumption.

Energy-saving performance depends on machine configuration, material type, operating speed, production cycle, factory power conditions and actual running time. For continuous production projects, energy monitoring and recovery can become an important part of long-term operating cost evaluation.
